A beautiful gentle giant. He is definately a son of Lander as he distinctly resembles his sire. A powerful mover with the softest of temperaments. Lonzo has an 'A' listed performance pedigree. He has been on lease to Jirrima Performance Horses for the passed few years and now returned to his owner at Murrumbateman. Thank you for the lease ao this lovely big horse.

HP Lonzo's sire Lander(dec), was in his own right a wonderful performance horse with outstanding achievements in more than one equine discipline. An extract taken from the AWHA Information Handbook(2000) in relation to Lander; "Lander carries some of Germany's best bloodlines, with close relatives competing successfully at many Olympic Games. Lander won Champion Warmblood Stallion at many agricultural shows including Brisbane Royal. In 1987 Lander commenced a dressage career and won Queensland Novice and Elementary Champion and Australian Novice Champion. Lander had reached Advanced Level Dressage when he commenced a showjumping career in 1989. Since then he had competed in World Cup Showjumping and F.E.I level dressage."

Monopet is by the prolific sire of competition horses, Monopol. She is related to a number of well known, high class performance horses including; Monokol, Welcome Stranger, Monglod, Heini, Monrand. Sixteen Monopol family members, won or placed in the 1998 Qld and NSW Dressage Championships, performing up to Grand Prix Level.

Lonzo's oldest progeny at the stud is 6 year old Jirrma Variety Show. In 2006 Variety Show was RunnerUp in the Prydes Easifeeds Young Event Horse at Wandin. He was awarded a perfect score in the conformation section and top scored the Dressage section. Variety Show also placed 7th at Wandin HT Intro, 3rd Albury HT Intro, 4th Wagga HT Intro and 1st Wangaratta HT Prelim. He continued his success in the spring winning the NSW State Prelim eventing and had his first Pre-Novice start at Wandin HT. A very respectable year for Variety Show going from Intro to Pre-Novice in the one year.
