This exciting young stallion of true riding type, is a horse with outstanding charisma and three very exciting paces. He has an honest, reliable and steady temperament. He is very responsive and always eager to please.
2007 has been a change of direction. He is showing exceptional talent as a showjumper, free jumping 1.30m x 1.50 oxers, and has won his first 2 D Grade starts and he is aiming for D and C Grade events at the Wodonga World Cup. In the meantime, with his expressive paces, he will be doing Novice dressage when possible. The previously years have been spent house building and not competing horses.
2004 saw Unbelievable complete his first show season as a hack. At the Goulburn Valley Arabian Championships he went from a novice horse in the morning to Supreme Champion Saddle Horse in the afternoon. At National Capital Horse, Unbelievable was Reserve Champion Double Registered under Saddle, Champion Newcomer Derivative and Champion Derivative Stallion under Saddle.
Unbelievable has been competing under saddle in the dressage field. He has an outstanding record, just proving how talented this young stallion really is. Due to the lack of choice of tests at competitions, Unbelievable has been competing in higher tests against many horses with far more experience than himself.
In
August 2004 he made the final of the 5yr old Young Horse Dressage Qualifer at
Werribee. At the Veterans Games 2003 also held in Wagga, he was 1st in the 50
years plus Prelim 1C and 1st in the 50 years plus 1B. (50 years for the rider!).Not
only did he win this section but was also had the highest scoring test for each
section overall with 66.9% and 64%. We repeated this effort again in 2004.
At the STAR MAKER show in Gundagai he won both the Preliminary and Novice dressage
tests. He again repeated this feat at Henty Show scoring 74% and 73% respectively.
In November 2002 he had his first start at Wandin One Day Event. This was great experience as the cross country course is quite difficult regardless of grade. One must watch out for the spooks. He completed the weekend with a 6th placing overall after a clear showjuming and cross country. In recent weeks he completed Wangaratta Horse Trials and finished 6th in the Introductory after clear SJ and XC but 5.2 time.
His sire is a well-bred performed horse. 'Arundel House Zermat' has competed Advanced level dressage, graded Novice Eventing, been back to back Australian Champion in Dressage, Sidesaddle, and Top Five under Saddle. He has his Supreme Roll of Merit and was a Multi Supreme Champion Halter and Saddle horse. In October 2000 he was part of the Australian Paralympic Dressage Team with Judy Hogan from WA.
